Everyone’s going over international waters for the summer and I’m stuck here with five more weeks of my last class before graduation. People come play with me!

My summer outlook:

  • June 11- Going to see the ballet “Giselle” with my sister
  • July 10 – Going to see “Phantom of the Opera” with Krissia and Amanda
  • July 25 thru Aug 02 – GOING TO ITALY WITH MY 3 BESTEST FRIENDS, Savina, Krissia, and Amanda
  • Aug 4 thru Aug 6? – Going with family and friends to Missouri for Marian Day (my first time)
  • Aug 20 – HBU 2005 Summer Commencement (I going to prance across that stage on graduation day)
  • Sept- Life as a college grad starts (I’m scared  )

Yay! I’m excited but most of all, I’m looking forward to spending and reconnecting with my friends who I’ve missed due to lack of time and busy schedules.

Some good advice I heard….

“Wait for God to bring that person that you’re meant to love into your life. Because chances are, if you go looking for them on your own, you’ll be wrong.”

My eyes are going to be puffy tomorrow but I feel good about it. Sometimes it’s a good thing that I do talk to myself because I’ve discover that there aren’t many people, whether they be friends, family, or not, who just do not have the time to be there for you.

I love this song! —-> “My Give-A-Damn’s Broken” It cracks me up. I heard it in my car this morning driving to my FUN stupid senior sem class *note the sarcasm* at eight in the morning.

You know the class where my professor told me that he could tell that English wasn’t my first language based on my submitted paper. Aside from the fact that I was born right here in the U.S. IT’S A FREAKING ROUGH DRAFT OF COURSE I DIDN’T BOTHER TO LOOK OVER IT! *Whew just needed to get that out* Then, he recommend to those who were foreigners to get an American boyfriend or girlfriend.  Hmmm, sorry no (even though I tend to do that anyways  ) but the point is I know a lot of native born people and they couldn’t produce a quality essay on strategic implementation within organizations and industry segments if their lives depended on it. Can’t wait for the student teacher evaluations!

Ohs back to the song, so I was listening to it driving to school and I started laughing in my car. Of course I was alone and there was this Hispanic guy in the car next to me smiling and shaking his head at me. I didn’t care and started cracking up even more. I bet I looked crazy.

It makes me want to go line dancing or square dancing. Like the scenes in Sweet Home Alabama!  Problem is, there aren’t a lot of my friends who actually like country music. Or want to go country dancing with little o’ me. I’ve suggested the idea a few times to my friends and they all look at me like I’m a crazy little Asian girl. I KNOW YA’LL KNOW HOW TO DO IT! I LEARN MY MOVES IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. I guess it’s just the southerner in me.

To my friend of 21 years, my partner in crime, as well my tattletale, my scapegoat, my little singing starlet, my critic, my confidant, my protector, MY SISTER!

Happy 21st Birthday,

Jennifer Huynh My Linh!!!

A look thru the years…

Baby Jennifer~ Still has the same lost look on her face

Baby Us~ Rare moment of us hugging. There aren’t any pictures of us fighting, now there’s a moment that should be capture on film!

Me and Jennifer~ This picture cracks me up. Jennifer cried A LOT when she was small. Judging from how my fingers are position, I have a pretty good idea on what or who made baby Jennifer cry.

Oops, in my defense, I was little!
